Wideye IR Glass uniqueness is made from combination of two aspects:

optical transmission

High performance in the near-IR

Its dedicated IR-transparent chemical composition makes this glass one of the least-absorbing materials in the 850-1650 nm range (up to 0.5 m-1)

IR transmission ~92% - IR absorption ~0%


Compatibility with automotive requirements

Unlike IR-transparent optical components, Wideye glass is made of an automotive soda-lime composition matrix and produced on an industrial scale in jumbo size within AGC float furnaces. It is therefore compatible with all the processes and transformations applied at automotive glazing plants (e.g. cutting, grinding, bending, tempering, lamination and coating)
